 | 2nd Exit were formed by songwriters Cissy & Nigel from the ashes of 'Blujon' and then 'Mellow Yellow'. With a passion for writing and performing all original material, most of their time was spent in writing new material, and what started out as a bit of a folk duo, has slowly morphed into the great rock sound that they are well known for today. With local gigs and plays on the local radio station under their belt, 2nd Exit were, in January 2010, signed by Rock 19 Management.
The band are currently recording a three track EP/Single at Chicken Shack Studios (www.chickenshackstudios.com) |

Nigel: Lead Guitar/Bass/Vocals:
Nigel is one of the most talented guitarists. In addition to the fantastic lead breaks he comes up with, he also plays many other instruments, including Bass, Sax and Keyboards. He and Cissy originally met through another band, 'Blujon' when Nigel answered an ad. in the local music shop. Nigel has, over the years played in many successful bands and many different styles, and is in great demand for his guitar work.
Aaron: Studio Drummer:
Stepped into the breach when the band's former drummer suddenly left the band, only a day before recording! Aaron immediately gelled with the band, and was able to come up with some great sounds for the songs. Such talent in one so young! |

Cissy: Vocals
Cissy started out performing and writing songs with her school friend, Janet. Their highlight was being played on the John Peel Show on Radio one many moons ago. Cissy went on to play with local bands, before deciding to concentrate on her career and then family. She says, "working with Nigel has been and is brilliant. I write lyrics and he instinctively knows what is the right sound! He is my best mate!" |

Introducing STEVE BAKER

Steve joins 2nd Exit, having been a successful 'Karaoke' singer in and around Hampshire. Never thought he had the time to pursue anything else musical, until he was dragged from the pubs and into rehearsing with 2nd Exit. Already Steve has been in the studio with the band, to record 'Just Because' and is also providing the backing vocals to the band's new demo, "Silver Storm".
Mark Rich (Rock 19 Management) says, "I heard all the usual karaoke stuff in a pub one day, and then out of the blue I heard someone with a great voice, belting out a song I had never heard, but will never forget! " |
